believes that well-conceived and properly maintained landscapes not

Company Overview:
- Founded in October 1985; over 20 years experience in the Northern VA Market
- We currently employ over 10 full time landscape professionals. We operate 6 customized trucks,
(3) 18' custom equipped enclosed trailers, (16) high production commmercial lawn mowers, one (65 horsepower) leaf vacuum, and over 100 specialized power tools to fulfill our clients needs day in and day out.

Training:
Continuing education also plays an important role in providing our clients with excellent results. To keep current with the most up-to-date horticultural approacheds and practices, we are active members in PLANET, Landscape Contractors Association, and Tree Care Industry Association. Our team leaders attend several seminars throughout the year taught
by professionals in our industry. Weekly training meetings are conducted
to review customer comments and questions. This is the opportunity for
our client’s feedback to be discussed with their Team Leader.
Seasonal topics are also covered providing informal training on plant
& disease identification and controls, proper pruning & planting
techniques, equipment usage & maintenance, and safety.
Each spring we conduct the Landscapers Challenge. The team members compete
amongst themselves demonstrating their skills in areas of proper equipment
operation and planting techniques. Under this competitive spirit, the
team members receive positive reinforcement of the do’s and don’ts
of their jobs.
Expertise:
- Founder and President, Jaime Deehan is a Virginia Certified Horticulturalist, Certified Pesticide Applicator as well as CLP (Certified Landscape Professional) and CLT (Certified Landscape Technician). There are less than (15) CLP recipients in the stateof Virginia and just over five hundred landscape professionals (out of hundreds of thousands) across the country that hold the exclusive CLP certification.
- Director of Enchancements, Cate Feck holds a BS in horticulture from Virginia Tech, is an ISA Certified Arborist, and a CLT. There are less than (60) CLT recipients in the state of Virginia certified in the field to be knowledgeable of horticulture, grounds maintenance machinery operations.
- The strength and experience of the Deehan Team should not be overlooked. We have over 85 years of combined experience in the field, with our average employee in the range of 8-10 years experience on the job. Some of our team members have been with us for over 13 years.
Licenses & Insurance:
We are a fully insured and licensed professional landscape company. Our coverage includes Worker Compensation insurance and General Liability / Property Damage insurance with a $2,000,000 per occurrence limit. We are licensed by the State of Virginia as Commercial Pesticide Applicators under category 3A Ornamental, and 3B Ornamental & Turf Pest control. We currently have bonding capacity to $100,000 for commercial landscape and projects.
